Have you ever met someone and felt like you’ve known them forever? That’s what it was like when I met Christina. I joined a women’s mentoring program at my job, and she was our small group coach.
Instantly I felt connected to her, like we were kindred spirits. As the program came to an end, I knew this could not be the end of our relationship.
After talking for a bit, I decided investing in coaching was right for me because I needed a plan. I felt like my life had no vision, and I was just floating through the days. I was finally ready to do something about it. Christina listened, understood, and most importantly CHALLENGED me to admit to behaviors I’d developed that were not helping me thrive. It has been the best investment I have made for myself. I now have a vision, I have given myself permission, and I’m on the journey to figure it all out. (Doesn’t happen overnight, friends).
Another reason I invested with Christina is because she is a believer in dreams but also reality. It wasn’t always “find your passion and life is magical!” We’ve had real, hard, tear-filled conversations about the trade offs that come with these decisions. I am passionate but also a realist. I’m still figuring out what “shit sandwich” (as she says so truthfully) is worth eating.
Flash forward a couple of months and this podcast hit my radar during one of our conversations. I had backed myself so far into a corner, that it was one of the reasons this podcast came to life for her. I am so moved and humbled by it, because it fulfills the storyteller in me. I KNEW I wasn’t the only one on this path and this just confirms it. I know this journey is not easy, and hearing from others who have been on it is crucial!
So, with that I bring you the “Unplugged” podcast from Christina’s “Corporate Rebel” program. I have not been asked to promote this for her. I WANTED to. I personally can’t wait to listen. Here’s the scoop:
• The podcast is free.
• The first interview launches on November 30.
• I know your life is full so there will be one video interview a week through the end of December. After that, the interviews will arrive in your inbox at a pace of 1-2 a month for at least a year. (As we move forward, I want to hear what you think of the interviews and your suggestions for other Corporate Rebels to interview – maybe even you!)
• You can listen to the interview on your own timeline. They will be live indefinitely.
