5 of my favorite budget-friendly home decor items

I don’t know about you, but all the extra time in my house is making me want to re-decorate everything! đŸ˜‰ Like most people, I’m on a budget so need to be smart when I’m making my home decor purchases. I try to focus on saving my money for bigger things like furniture, tables, bookshelves, etc. and then find smaller decor pieces on Amazon, Target or HomeGoods/TJMaxx (how I miss thee!)

All of that said, I wanted to share my top 5 favorite home decor finds that I’ve found on a budget. This post includes shoppable links to each item as well.

Let’s start off by addressing pillows. If you’re like me, you want 4,000 pillows everywhere. But dang, pillows are not cheap. Here’s my advice: buy inserts. Then, you can simply shop for covers anytime you want to change them out. The covers below I got for $17 each, which would easily be $30 each with the pillow.

Adding greenery that you don’t have to take care of is a must for me. At the same time, I don’t want it to look overly fake, you know? This trio of plants from Amazon is one of my absolute favorite purchases. They have a lot of different styles like this, sold in a 3 pack. You definitely get your money’s worth and they can spruce up so many spots in your home.

If I could cover our home in throw blankets, I would. But, I’m trying to keep my marriage in tact. Why are men so against throw blankets?! Anyway, maybe that’s a topic for another day – HA! When I discovered this $7 (legit $7) blanket I needed all of them.

If you’ve followed me for more than 2 days, you’ll know I have an unhealthy obsession with trays. I organize everything with them, and cannot stop myself from buying them. I’ve once again discovered that Amazon is a great resource to find affordable options.

You know those cute Joanna Gaines wreaths? Why are those $60? I want all the wreaths but also don’t want to go into debt over them, so I made my own. Grab a wire or wood wreath from your local craft store, a hot glue gun, and some garland. Just like that, you have a wreath for $15 which is what this one cost me.

I hope this sparked some ideas or even a DIY project for you to try at home. As always, leave a comment or send me an email with any questions! I love to connect and chat about all things home decor and literally anything else. đŸ™‚
